Action Verbs
Why Use Action Verbs
Action verbs are used in resumes to help showcase your accomplishments. When hiring managers seek candidates, they don't just want to know that you are knowledgeable in your field, they want to know that you can apply that knowledge to business problems. Additionally, framing your duties, responsibilities, and experience with action verbs provides a more convincing way to espouse your talents. For example, anyone can claim to know SQL but not everyone can wield it effectively.
